Transtopics is India’s largest selling Weekly magazine targeted at the logistics & commercial vehicle segment with specific focus on road transport. The magazine, started in 1963, is India’s only Weekly magazine on these segments, published every Thursday.

Over the years, Transtopics has gained not just immense popularity, but also repute within the Industry. The current Editor of Transtopics – Girish Mirchandani, with an experience of 30 years in the industry, is known for his hard-hitting Editorials. Girish has been on the Jury of many industry awards and has moderated many panels related to the Logistics & Commercial Vehicle Industry.

The growing influence of digital media led to the group’s YouTube channel – Trans India News Network. Once again, a weekly feature, Trans India has over 200 episodes covering some of the best personalities & events in the industry. The channel is also running some very inspiring series viz: Nayi Soch Naye Raaste, Moving India with Nayi Soch, Rising Star & Legends of Road Transport – each catering to a specific subject / industry group.

Transtopics & Trans India have been particularly invested in providing a platform to the Youth & Women Transporters to voice their opinion and feature their journey.

Girish led the country’s first ever women-delegation of transporters to the manufacturing facility of an OEM – VE Commercial Vehicles. Another delegation of women was led by Girish to Ashok Leyland’s facility in Ennore.

Girish is on the advisory committee of many transport associations across India and also to Private Equity firms.

He has closely studied the impact of alternate fuels as well as technology, including its use in various segments of road transport. He has been instrumental in setting up as well as moderating various seminars related to the industry with subjects ranging from education, training, policies, technology, etc.
