Girish Mirchandani has been closely connected with the Logistics & Commercial Vehicle Industry for almost 27 years, heading a 6 decade old magazine on the above segment – Transtopics.

Transtopics is India’s only weekly magazine focusing on the road transport industry. An engineer by qualification, Girish chose to join the family business and has since taken the magazine to international markets as well – covering the International Road Union – Europe’s leading organisation for the trucking industry.

Girish is connected with the industry on a daily basis, tracking all major & minor development, apart from being a speaker on various subjects at industry forums.

Girish has been on the Jury of almost all awards related to the road transport industry: Mahindra Transport Excellence Awards, Apollo CV Awards, TV9 Logistics Awards, FADA Dealership Awards, India Bus Awards, IIM War Room, etc.

Girish has been a mentor to many young transporters and has been a constant source of encouragement and guidance to the female transporters looking to strengthen their foot hold in the industry. He recently organised India’s first women delegation trip to a major truck manufacturing facility.

2 years back Girish started a YouTube channel for the industry – Trans India News Network, with a new episode every week featuring the best minds in the industry. The channel has gained immense popularity in a short span of time with each episode attracting a large viewership of over 175K. The channel as on date has completed 142 episodes.
