Alpha Drives specializes in the manufacture of Power Take Offs (PTOs) for Commercial Vehicles. They serve the leading CV Oems in India, apart from all the Truck Hydraulics Oems and Special Vehicle Builders in the Country. Based in Coimbatore, Alpha Drives is equipped with a modern well equipped factory with CNC machines for Gear manufacturing as well as for machining of housings. They are supported by a strong vendor base for the supply of Castings and Forgings.

Their product range extends from PTOs for Small Trucks such as the Tata Ace and Ashok Leyland Dost right upto the Heavy Tip Trailers. Alpha Drives also manufactures a range of products for Defence. This includes a special 2 output PTO for the Beml –Tatra truck used in Mission Critical Missile Launcher Applications. The Product range is continuously being extended and upgraded based on customer needs.

The strength of Alpha Drives is in their Design, Development and Testing Capabilities. The team is equipped with the latest software for Modeling, FEA and Gear strength rating. The R & D facility is equipped with Test Rigs for Full Load testing, Cyclical testing and Endurance Testing of PTOs. A Power Recirculating Test Rig for Endurance testing upto 1000 Nm has recently been installed.

Alpha Drives is also engaged with several overseas customers and stands ready to serve the needs of the Commercial Vehicle Industry.
