Ms. Harinder is a dedicated and experienced logistics professional with a diverse academic background and extensive industry experience. She completed her M.A. in political science from Punjab University Chandigarh in 2003 and later obtained a master’s degree in Hindi in 2011–2013 and a bachelor’s degree in library science and information technology in 2014–2015.
In 2021–2022, Ms. Kaur completed an executive program, Transitioning into Leadership: A Programme for Women Executives, from IIM Calcutta, and in 2022, she completed a Digital Supply Chain and Logistics Management Program from IIM Visakhapatnam. Most recently, in February 2023, she attended the ATAL FDP programme Sustainable Agri-Food Supply Chain Management under PM Gati Shakti at IIM Visakhapatnam.
Ms. Kaur’s professional experience includes working as an assistant librarian for the Dr. Sudhir Chandra Sur Institute of Technology & Sports Complex, as an administrative executive for the Gurunanak Institute of Hotel Management, and now as the logistics head for Northern Cargo Service (JIS Group). She joined the transportation industry in 2018 as an administrative manager at Northern Cargo Service (NCS), where she has since gained expertise in operations, planning, procurement, repair and maintenance, and driver management.
Ms. Kaur’s approach to driver management is informed by her hands-on experience conducting route surveys alongside truck drivers to better understand their needs and challenges. She is passionate about driver training as a means to reduce road accidents, improve service quality, and promote better health for drivers
