Vice President, Engine and Components Business at Cummins
Anjali Pandey leads the Engine Business and Components Business at Cummins India. In her current role, she is responsible for driving the growth of the businesses and enhancing the market share for both on-highway and off-highway sectors.
In addition to this, Anjali also leads the Powertrain and Electrification programs for Cummins in India. In this capacity, she works towards identification of market and customer needs to ensure successful introduction of new products.
Anjali’s association with Cummins India dates back to 2001, when she joined as a graduate trainee in the Sourcing function. Subsequently, she attained a Six Sigma Black Belt, which was followed by her stint with Internal Audit. Before taking on the leadership of Cummins Emission Solutions in 2011, she also led the Strategy and Business Development function for a period of two years.
Anjali holds a BE degree in Production Engineering and an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana, USA. A certified auditor, she has received many awards from Cummins for her Six Sigma projects. She received the Woman Achiever Award for the year 2011 and was featured among the India’s Women Business Leaders 2017 by the Economic Times-Spencer Stuart listing of India’s hottest executives under 40 years. She is also the recipient of the Women Building India – Committed Leader Award from CII EXCON 2022 for her outstanding commitment to promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the workplace.
Anjali is an avid reader and enjoys playing table tennis. Born in Varanasi, Anjali grew up in Pune, India. A strong advocate of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at workplace, she believes that Cummins is the place to be, offering ample opportunity to learn and grow at every stage alongside the flexibility of gaining experience across multiple functions and specializations.
