Mr. Tom Flack is currently the Chief Purchasing Officer & Member of the Executive Committee (ExCom) of Tata Motors Ltd (TML). In his current role, he leads the Purchase and Supplier Quality function across all operations. This role includes all vehicle and powertrain new program part sourcing and development through Suppliers.

Prior to TML, he has worked with Ford Motor Company as Global Director of Purchasing as well as Purchasing Director in Asia Pacific (based in China). He has a rich global experience of over 26 years in Purchasing, Product Development, Strategy and Operations.

Mr Flack holds a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Materials and Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University, North America. He also holds an MBA from Michigan State University.

He enjoys playing all kinds of sports, exercising to keep fit and playing music.
