Mr. Tim Campbell has over 35 years experience of working at many levels within the commercial vehicle industry working at both dealer and manufacturer levels, from Research & Development to National Sales Manager as well as running vans and trucks for a living as a Contract Hire and Rental Director, before he set his own company up in 1997which he sold in 2014.

His company, based in the UK, employed over 35 staff and worked on a confidential basis for many of the leading manufacturers and OEM’s advising them on all aspects of commercial vehicle marketing in almost every continent of the world.

Over the years he has regularly trained staff and managers from a host of manufacturers and spoken to various European and international audiences on all types of issues facing the commercial vehicle and transport sectors.

For over 16 years Tim has had a second home in the US allowing him to be involved in the world’s largest heavy truck market. He has presented at conferences and seminars centred around the many aspects of the commercial vehicle industry, including in Tokyo Japan, Indiana and Las Vegas in the US, as well as the keynote speaker at the Middle East Commercial Vehicle Conference in Dubai.

As well as writing, he worked as a TV presenter on UK and European TV including the “Trucks” programme on the SKY network channel “ menandmotors” filming in locations from the Artic Circle to Cape Town South Africa as well as “International Motor Specials” from places such as Tokyo for British Independent channel ITV4.

He spends the majority of his time attending various commercial vehicle and transport exhibitions and has visited most major markets including USA, Canada, Mexico, Russia, China, Japan, Brazil, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, as well as all the European countries and, of course, India.

His current interest is the growth in electric and alternative fuelled commercial vehicles from the small van to the heavy truck.
