Head of Infotronics Technology and Advance Electronics at Mahindra & Mahindra
Mr. Sirish Batchu is the Head of Infotronics Technology and Advance Electronics at Mahindra Research Valley, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. for the Automotive and Farm Sectors. He is responsible for the exploration & development of relevant new technologies in advance of vehicle programs which helps in reducing time to market and launch reliable products for M&M. He is involved in creating the technology strategies for the Automotive and Farm Sectors., and acts as a technology evangelist across group companies.
Sirish has been with Mahindra for ~2years and is leading the Connected Vehicles Program at the group level by leveraging cross-company synergies across the Mahindra Group. He is acknowledged in the Indian Automotive industry for his thought leadership on leveraging the Connected Vehicles Solutions and is an active evangelist in the industry. He also the leader of the focus group for the Connected Vehicles under the Auto-SIG of NASSCOM and a member of the CII national committee on Transportation, Connectivity & Mobility and National Workgroup for M2M.
Prior to joining M&M, Sirish was the Head of Engineering for Bosch Car Multimedia at Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Ltd., responsible for managing the Strategy, Business Development and Engineering Operations of the Bosch Car Multimedia business unit in India and Engineering Services for the International Operations for the Infotainment, Navigation, Telematics, Instrument Clusters & Connected Vehicles solutions. He was associated with Bosch for ~17 years both in India and abroad (Europe and USA) in various capacities and leadership positions. During his tenure at Bosch, he has worked in various domains which include Automotive Infotainment and Navigation systems, Chassis and Automotive Electronics divisions, Building Security Systems & Home Automation.Before joining Bosch, he has worked with Indian Space Research Organization, Ahmedabad for ~3 years, on Satellite Image Processing and Remote Sensing Applications.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from SGSITS, Devi Ahilya University, Indore, and has done Executive General Management Programme (EGMP) from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
