With more than 25 years of experience in automotive product design and development domain, Sachin Agrawal is Sr Vice President Technology for Volvo Eicher commercial vehicles. He is leading and guiding motivated team of 300 Engineers involved in Powertrain; Alternate Fuels; Control system; Electromobility and Fuel Cell; Connected Solutions; Advanced technology development; Virtual Validation; Cab engineering and Aftermarket technology.

He is a member of the Executive Management and Technology Management for Volvo Eicher JV and has developed state of the art BS VI compliant Diesel and CNG engine range in-house. He has been leading aggressive electromobility, hydrogen mobility and connected solution development programs for Volvo Eicher with Industry’s first introduction of advanced telematics solution for complete range. He has been responsible for developing highly cost effective and fuel efficient Power Trains including innovative driveline solutions to suit various customer applications and segments.

He has extensive exposure of working in multi-location environment for collaborating across global networks and partnerships and is leading synergy program for collaboration with Volvo on technology transfer in areas of Engine management system; Electronic features and Automation of manual transmissions.

Postgraduate in Design Engineering from IIT Bombay, Sachin Agrawal has also been US Fulbright Scholar and has completed fellowship for leadership in management from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA.
