Mr. Rohit Bhatia is currently the Vice President at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. and is responsible for the Component Development and Materials Management for the Truck and Bus Division and also the Construction Equipment Division in the Automotive sector.

He also heads the Supply Chain function for the Truck and Bus division and responsible for end to end supply chain of parts and trucks.

Rohit has over 26years working experience in Automotive, Tractor and Appliances Industries. He is working with the Mahindra Group since 2000 in the Sourcing function. He has successfully led the Global Sourcing function and Commodity Head role in the Strategic Sourcing function in Mahindra Auto & Farm Sectors.

Prior to joining Mahindra. Rohit has worked with Godrej-GE Appliance Ltd. in Purchasing for 8 years and before that Tata Motors in Manufacturing for 3 years.

He is a BE (Mechanical) of 1989 batch and has done his Master’s Degree in Management from Welingkar Institute, Mumbai in 1996.

As part of Mahindra leadership development he also completed ‘Global Program in Management Development’ from Ross School of Business, University of Michigan.

He is a Life Member of the Indian Institute of Materials Management.”
