Meet Ravi Balusu, the Unit Head of Automotive Engineering for India, and SEA. With over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry, Ravi has held various leadership roles across North American automotive companies such as General Motors and Mando America Corporation.

In his current role, Ravi is responsible for driving innovation, product development, engineering, and technical sales in the region. He is also leading the Engineering strategy to achieve profitable growth for the Automotive business.

He has also worked for 9 years at SKF’s North American Technical Center in Detroit, enriching his experience in PMO, Technical Sales, Sales, and Business Development.

Prior to joining SKF, Ravi led the Program Management team at Mando America Corporation, launching major OE projects for General Motors.

Ravi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University, a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Bradley University, and an Executive MBA from Michigan State University. He is a passionate people enabler and leader with a keen interest in innovation, sustainability, and circular economy.

Based in Bangalore, India, Ravi enjoys spending time with his family while driving the Automotive Engineering strategy forward.
