Mr. Mandar Vaidya is Vice President – Material, SKF India and Global Category Manager – Group Purchase at SKF. Mandar is responsible for laying out and implementing roadmaps for improving SKF’s procurement strategies in India and aligning them with the SKF group globally.

He has been with SKF since 2003. Mandar has a vast experience of over 30 years in purchase and procurement planning. He has used this to ensure that SKF has some of the best global procurement practices by leveraging volumes and developing multiple procurement sources. Mandar has also used his knowledge of pricing, efficient vendor and contract management to align SKF India with the groups global strategies. He has built his experience in the procurement domain while rising through the ranks. He assumed charge of Global Category Manager for SKF Group in 2011 and Vice President – Materials in 2016.

Prior to SKF, he has worked with the Mahindra Group.

Mandar is a Mechanical Engineer and an ICWA.
