As Executive VP, Strategic Growth Areas, JBM Group, Gurbeer’s key responsibilities include spearheading the group’s initiatives for inorganic & organic growth which includes e-mobility. He is currently leading a number of initiatives on different EV projects at JBM Group.
Gurbeer brings with him vast global experience of over 20 years in developing business strategy and leading sustainable & profitable growth in different territories. With thorough exposure and work experience in the global automotive business environment, Gurbeer has been closely associated with the entire spectrum of operations ranging from supply base, market strategy, product strategy, service, warranty and after-sales. In his long stint with Renault S.A. based in Paris, Gurbeer worked in different domains of passenger and LCV divisions covering ASEAN region and South Africa. He was instrumental in formulating the initial Renault India product strategy including JV with M&M, launch of Logan and other Renault products.
Gurbeer is an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and completed Post-graduation in International Management from HEC, Paris.
