Dr. Ajit Kumar Jindal serves as the Vice President Electric Vehicle Development and Defence Vehicles at Tata Motors. He is responsible for complete commercial vehicle portfolio, ranging from a small 0.5 pay load commercial vehicle to 49 Ton GVW tractor trailer as well as passenger vehicles for commercial applications ranging from 4 seater to 60 seater buses. This team has cradle to grave responsibility of all the product platforms right from identifying the customer, stated and unstated, needs through QFD, defining the product, conceptualization, prototyping, testing and validation as well as providing support in productionisation.
