Colonel Ali Akhtar Jafri (Retd) is an Army veteran with 22+ years of rich experience in various command and staff assignments. He has managed a fleet of 3000+ vehicles without accidents, specialises in driver training and has handled construction of roads by BRO in six states of NE India. An alumnus of NDA, IMA, DSSC Wellington, College of Defence Management, Secunderabad and Army War College, Mhow, the Colonel has commanded 191 Field Regiment on the LAC. An MBA from Osmania University, he specialises in Supply Chain Management and has handled logistics of a division in Rajasthan. He has rich experience in social work under Operation Samaritan and Sadbhavana. He has also been an Assistant Military Secretary at Army Headquarters and an Aide-de-Camp to Shri Arvind Dave, ex Director R&AW and Shri SS Sidhu ex Secretary Civil Aviation when both were Governor at Manipur. He devotes his energy in supporting SaveLIFE Foundation, a premier Trust promoting Road Safety in India.
