Infrastructure keeps constructing India and equipment rental industry is the backbone of the infrastructure development of India.

CERA strongly believes that partnership and cooperation between industry, government and civil society is the key to infrastructure, economic and social development of India.

At CERA, all our efforts are directed towards harnessing and leveraging the power of being organized and standardization to change communication, business and business procedures, connect knowledge to procedures and hence, promote rental concept, impact profits and generate employment and entrepreneurship in the equipment rental industry.

CERA was conceptualized and founded in the vacuum. There was no one to represent India’s construction equipment rental industry at National level. So, the dearth of a national organization to stand for equipment rental sector was a factor for the birth of CERA. It was in this milieu of hope and uncertainty that CERA was conceptualized and founded by Satin Sachdeva, with a thought – Let’s grow together. Satin Sachdeva is also the serving and first Secretary-General of CERA.

The first small conference in New Delhi on 3 September 2016 will ever remain witness to the birth of CERA when on the invitation of Satin Sachdeva, the 16 founding members congregated and sowed the seeds of camaraderie and pledged to nurture the organization with a vision to constitute it into a world’s most prestigious and biggest equipment rental association. The 17 honourable members are – Harpreet Singh, Satvinder Singh, Tarun Soodan, Deepak Malik, Manoj Agrawal, Jai B Goyal, Kaushik Agrawal, Harsh Kapur, Angad Singh, Anand Singh, Hanu Parischa, Pavan Bagadia, J S Anand, Narender Singh, Grovin Khandelval and Paritosh Manocha.

CERA has come a long way since its inception. As we move forward, there are multiple tasks ahead for the Association to ensure the growth and success of the equipment rental industry in India.
