Jaideep Shekhar is currently serving as the VP, Managing Director of Terex India Pvt. Ltd. that includes several business lines like Finlay, Powerscreen, MPS, TWS, Franna, Recycling Systems, and Terex Cranes.

Jaideep is also responsible for the Terex MPS global Business in Asia, Australia, Europe, Middle East and African markets. He has over two decades of experience in the mining and construction equipment sectors. Jaideep is responsible for approx. US$ 250M business across multiple continents and leads a multi-cultural and multinational team spread across 10 countries.

Jaideep has worked for companies like Svedala Industries AB and Metso Minerals prior to his current stint at Terex.

He was born and raised in the mining belt of Steel City Jamshedpur and Coal City Dhanbad in Jharkhand. Growing Up, he had plenty of first-hand exposure to the mining and minerals sector, and it fascinated him so much that he enrolled in the Indian School of Mines to pursue a career in this field.

Jaideep graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Minerals Processing from the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad in 1999.

He serves as the Governing Council Member at the Infrastructure Equipment Skill Council (IESC) which operates under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India, and is the apex body for spearheading the skilling of workforce in the Infrastructure Equipment Sector.

Jaideep also serves as the Governing Council Member at the Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers' Association (ICEMA). In addition, he is also the Co-Chair at the Underground Construction & Tunnelling Council at ASSOCHAM.
