Dr. Ashish Malik is an accomplished academician, with interdisciplinary expertise in lithium batteries, electric vehicles, and advanced automotive technologies, he is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the School of Automobile, Mechanical & Mechatronics at Manipal University Jaipur.

He has more than a decade long experience in international environment, educating and training young minds to become successful engineers, guided multiple electric vehicle projects, forged strategic collaborations with international universities and automotive industry partners. He created Electric Vehicle Technologies research facility at MUJ benefitting numerous PhD scholars and masters’ students.

Dr. Ashish has advised and mentored multiple startups in the EV charging infrastructure domain and battery pack development. He is the winner of national level #innovateToINSPIRE Challenge 2018 for delivering an innovation in the form of “Mobile Li-Ion Battery System (MOLIB)” in the realm of Improved Grid Management System, organized by EESL, WRI India and The World Bank. He has published number of research publications, design patent and multiple copyrights in his credit.

Dr. Ashish earned his PhD from Universite de Lorraine, France, in 2012 and MS Engineering from JNCASR institute in Bangalore in 2008.
