Focus areas include Automotive powertrain in passenger and commercial vehicle, Alternative fuels, Hybridisation & Electrification of vehicles and Product strategy.

In terms of his education, he is Master of Science in Automotive Systems Engineering, RWTH Aachen, Germany and has done his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from R.V. College of Engineering, Bangalore, India.
