Mr. Malind Kapur is the Executive Vice President and the Business Head of the spare parts business at Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd (PVPL). In his current role, he is responsible for Business Strategy, EVA & EBIT growth, and new emerging business opportunities.

Malind brings more than three and a half decades of professional experience, both in national and international markets. An automotive Industry veteran, Malind is experienced in handling various corporate functions including the profit center, product strategy, channel development, sales, customer care, and marketing strategy.

Malind has been a key member in the launch of various new vehicles for Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd including the Electric Vehicle range in 2019. He has been instrumental in initiating some of the largest global tie-ups for Electric Vehicles for PVPL. He was also responsible for designing & creating the largest electric vehicle network for 3-wheeler CVs in India. He has earned industry-wide respect for building technologically rich products and handling business operations.

Prior to Piaggio, Malind worked with reputed companies like Escorts, Bajaj Tempo (Force Motors), Sintex Industries, Eternit Everest, and Pennzoil.

Malind is a Science graduate from Fergusson College and holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Institute of Management Development & Research. He also holds a diploma in Tribology from Woodlands college, Texas, USA.

In his free time, Malind loves to travel, especially to the mountains and is an avid skier.
