Dr. Venkat Srinivas is Senior Vice President – Product Development, Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) Ltd. He is a member of the Senior Management Team at Mahindra Truck and Bus Division, managing engineering and product development functions for M&M’s Commercial Vehicle range of Trucks and Buses.  He has twenty six years of R&D and management experience in Aerospace and Automotive engineering disciplines.

Prior to joining M&M in 2014, Dr. Srinivas was Special Director – Product Development at Ashok Leyland Ltd, and a member of the Ashok Leyland Senior Management Team, managing several engineering departments and a team of over 300 engineers and managers.  Dr. Srinivas earlier had a 14-year career in Product Development at Ford Motor Company, Detroit, USA.

Dr. Srinivas holds a B.Tech. from IIT, Madras, India, MS and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Maryland, USA, and an MBA with High Distinction from the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, USA.
