Stratasys Ltd. (NASDAQ: SSYS), headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Rehovot, Israel, is the trusted leader in 3D printing and additive manufacturing solutions.  Founded in 1998, Stratasys holds over 800 granted or pending additive manufacturing patents worldwide and has received more than 30 awards for its technology and leadership. Its products range from affordable desktop 3D printers to advanced 3D production systems, offering wider accessibility of 3D printing for different users.

All Stratasys 3D printers build parts layer-by-layer. FDM® Technology (Fused Deposition Modeling), known for its reliability and durable parts, extrudes fine lines of molten thermoplastic, which solidify as they are deposited. PolyJetTM technology, known for its smooth, detailed surfaces and ability to combine multiple materials in one part, employs an inkjet-style method to build parts from liquid photopolymers in fine droplets immediately cured with ultraviolet light.

The Stratasys portfolio also includes a comprehensive range of additive manufacturing materials in the industry, including clear, rubber-like, bio-compatible photopolymers, and tough high-performance FDM thermoplastics, enabling engineers, manufacturers and designers to create concept models, functional prototypes, industrial tools and molds, and end use parts in a cost-effective and timely manner. Stratasys’ 3D printing solutions are widely adopted in variously industries, such as manufacturing, consumer goods, education, automotive, aerospace and defense, medical and dental; helping customers maximize designs while streamlining product development cycle.

Stratasys subsidiaries include MakerBot and Solidscape; and the Stratasys ecosystem includes 3D printers producing prototypes and production, on-demand parts production service via Stratasys Direct Manufacturing; strategic consulting and professional services; and the Thingiverse/GrabCAD communities with over 5 million 3D printable files for free designs. With 2,700 employees and 1,200 granted or pending additive manufacturing patents, Stratasys has received more than 30 technology and leadership awards.
