Varghese Abraham has a Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management. He has served in several leadership roles during the 40 years of  his experience in leading companies such as Tata Motors and Thyssen Krupp in India, National Telecommunications, Al Fasaliaya and AL Rajhi Group in the Gulf. He draws his rich experience from the areas in Productivity Systems & Value Engineering, Materials Management, Marketing, Management Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business & Product Development, Training, HR, ERP, Greenfield Projects etc.

At present, he is the Vice President  – Business Development of Total Shipping  & Logistics(India) Pvt Ltd, a Rs 750 Crore company.  His main role is to offer logistics solutions to corporate in India and abroad.  He is key member of the corporate to manage Logistics of Tata Motors, Thermax Ltd, Crompton Greaves , Ajax Fiori TE Connectivity Maxion Wheels, etc.

He was actively involved as a faculty with various forums like CII, IIMM, GSM, the leading educational institutions in India and also to various colleges and in-house programs.

He is a dynamic professional with expertise in Supply Chain Management. He has been able to provide customized solutions to clients with appropriate, cutting-edge technology solutions. He is always focused on profit growth and cost reduction. A skilled team leader, motivator, presenter and speaker. A thinker always out of the box .

Fleet Management and Future of Mobility: Tremors of regulatory changes (GST, Emission Norms) and market challenges (integrated service provider, aftermarket) are being felt across the industry.
