Mr. Gajanan V. Gandhe is Senior Vice President, South Asian Operations for International Automotive Components (IAC) Asia Limited, a subsidiary of International AutomotiveComponents Group North America. In this role, Gajanan is responsible for the South Asian and African region (India, ASEAN Region and South Africa) operations and growth strategy. which presently includes IAC’s own manufacturing sites and JVs.  Additionally, he has quickly helped grow new business with global and local OEMs, including Mercedes, BMW, Volvo, General Motors, SAIC, Geely, BBDC, Mahindra and Mahindra and Mahindra International.

Gajanan has more than 26 years of engineering and management experience in the automotive industry in United States, India and China. Prior to IAC, he worked in numerous leadership positions with Easi Engineering, General Motors, Dow  Automotive and Lear Corporation.

Gajanan earned his Master’s of Business Administration from Oakland University (Rochester, Mich.), a Master’s of Science in Engineering Mechanics from Virginia Tech (Blacksburg, Va.) and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Bombay, India). In 2009, he participated in the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program, a two-month intensive executive management program designed for select business leaders from around the world.
